July Bike Night

We have been extremely busy here so I am sorry that it is taking me a week to post some photo's from Bike Night. If you were unable to make it, you sure missed a good night!!! The parking lot was PACKED! We had bikes parked across the street, out back, on the grass, everywhere!
A couple of us made it up on the roof to throw the huge box of t-shirts & hats. The crowd loved it! We had some cool cars here including Kory's 63 and Big Bill's 62 Chevy's. The burnout pad was a hot attraction by spectators and participants!
Thanks to Mike Keegan for capturing the fun evening! Also thanks to everyone that helps us month after month making our Bike Night a great Success!

Moonlight Unveiling
By: Mike Keegan
September 18th, Marshfield, Mass.
When well known artist David Brega called me in need of some motorcycles to be a part of an outdoor art unveiling in Marshfield, I knew there was only one place to go.
I emailed Jody and she got in touch with Brian Gould to see if he and his custom could put in an appearance. He said he could get a few bikes together along with two of his own and they would be there for the unveiling.
The big night arrived and after working all afternoon at a shoot with Toni-Ann, she and I drove over to Marshfield for the second half of our double header.
Dave had been kind enough to donate a Perewitz mechanic shirt so that Toni would look her best as she represented the bikes to the crowd. Judging by all the attention she, and the bikes, received from just about every guy there, the Perewitz name was everywhere.

After a musical introduction the bikes rolled in and each of the five bikes parked in front of one of the five 14 X 16 foot murals. Brian parked in front of David's painting of a worn leather bike jacket owned by Joey Kramer of Aerosmith in front of an American flag. It was a perfect matching of two amazing pieces of art and the crowd admired both pieces equally..
It was a great night made even better by the efforts of Brian and his crew, riding down to Marshfield after a long days work to help out with this event.
Many thanks to them as well as Toni and Jody for helping to make this night such a success. Their efforts were greatly appreciated.

Misc. Info
We had our last 2008 Bike Night last night and it was great! I want to thank everyone who came last night and all summer. It was huge turnout. September can be iffy because the weather is turning cooler, it is dark by 7, kids are back to school, etc. Obviously non of those things effected Bike Night. We had definitely the best September crowd we have ever had. So Thanks again to everyone that supported us every third Wednesday. I will post some pictures next week, maybe Mike Keegan will send me some??!
In other news we are giving a facelift to an 08 FLH for a friend of Thugs, Alan. The bike is already torn apart but Dirti and I cringed because it had the anniversary paint on it, which is wicked cool, and we quicky preped it for it's new color, purple!

And lastly we have 3 puppies here from Puerto Rico. They are rescue dogs that we are "auctioning" off this weekend at our charity event. All the money will go back to the island to help save more "Sato's". Aren't they adorable!

Oh and today is Kory's birthday!!!

Rock Ride 08`
By Mike Keegan
I had the pleasure of working the first annual "Rock Ride" this past Sunday and I have to say that I was pretty impressed with the whole event. The weather was perfect, the bikes were beautiful, the people were great and the State Troopers that acted as escorts from Waltham to Boston were the best.
Celebrities and VIPs were everywhere waiting for Steven Tyler and his crew from Red Wing Motorcycles to arrive and lead the ride into the Live Nation Pavilion for a great concert featuring some of Boston's best musicians.
It was a very cool experience to have Rt 128 and Rt 93 shut down and traffic pulled aside so all 500 plus bikes and our big red truck could get into Boston and down to the waterfront as a group.
Money raised from the ride, and an auction and concert with Steven and Joey Kramer on Monday night at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston, went to several charities doing great work around the world. Before the concert the winner of a national" Guitar Hero" contest was given a custom Aerosmith Red Wing motorcycle presented and autographed by Steven Tyler.
It was great to see so many Bikers turn out both days to enjoy the ride, the music and each others company while at the same time raising money and awareness for charity.
