Trip to Vegas

Kory, Jeff and I had a great trip to Vegas! There is so much to see and do in the Vegas vecinity. On Thursday we went to the Hoover Dam. It is just enormous and beautiful. That part of the country is so different and dry! Along the way we stopped in the town of Boulder City and got some BBQ. On the way back we stopped at the Orleans Center to watch the qualifing for the Mini Moto. All 3 of us were wishing we had our mini bikes so we could race too!


On Friday we hung out at the Mini Moto all day until the big race at night. Those mini bikes are definitely underestimated. They are wicked fast! We have been waiting for this trip for so long, just to give you an idea, I bought the tickets for the race in August 2007!




On Saturday we milled around the hotel until early afternoon, then we drove out to the desert and got some lunch before we headed over to the AMA Supercross. We arrived to the Sam Boyd Arena early so we could watch qualifing and maybe check out the pits. Unfortunately the tickets that were supposed to be waiting for us weren't waiting at all. It was huge disappointment.
